PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE

OUR FIRST STEPS

It was in 1994 that a team of 5 people set-up TECNO ITALIA SRL in Salvaterra (RE), a company working in the technological sector of the tile manufacturing industry specialised in the production of rotary screen printing machinery.

TECNO ITALIA, which later turned out to be an important role leader of the market, commercialised ROLL PRINT, the first rotary screen printing machine with fabric roll without supporting ribs: a foretold success that enabled the company to grow to around 20 staff members in just two years. Again in 1996, TECNO ITALIA not only moved to larger facilities in Formigine (MO), but it also started its adventure worldwide and inaugurated its first laboratory abroad, in Mexico. The technological development process of TECNO ITALIA was brilliant right from the very start and the results were very soon seen: the company introduced the first rolls in silicon with the ROLL PRINT machine, the only one on the market able to exploit both technologies (Fabric and Silicon rolls). This multiplied its production by around 20 times, improving printing quality, entering the structures and introducing the Random print method. [...]

TODAY

Today TECNO ITALIA is an organisation of 70 staff members, plus foreign laboratories that assist customers around the world. With over 7000 machines sold, TECNO ITALIA has rightfully won the leadership of its sector, by innovating and investing, growing constantly and offering its customers the best solutions available on the market, which are currently identified and offered in the SILICON VERTICAL machine (link to page of the machine) and the ZERO SEI machine (link to the page of the machine). The production range of TECNO ITALIA is completed with the solutions for dry applications COLOR VERTICAL DRY (link to the page of the machine) in the glazing line and COLOR DRY PRESS (link to the page of the machine) in the pressing phase.

The future of TECNO ITALIA bestows the same values and the same spirit that has animated the company up to date, with the will to continue working with great commitment on the market. This way of thinking definitely also applies to the objective of always being present in places of greater development of the tile manufacturing industry.

The production of the ROLL PRINT machine commenced in Salvaterra (RE). It was the first rotary screen printing machine without supporting ribs inside the fabric roll.
1996 - The first laboratory is opened abroad, in Mexico
1996 - The silicon rolls are introduced
Having moved to larger facilities in Formigine (MO), Tecno Italia introduced the first silicon rolls to the market. Roll Print was then the only machine to be able to fit both fabric and silicon rolls.
1997 - The foreign laboratory is opened in Spain
1998 - The foreign laboratory is opened in Brazil

The Multiroll machine came along with the first application solutions with powders on a rotary system, by means of the Tecno Roll Dry system. The Multiroll unit was the first machine to be able to fit rolls made of fabric, silicon or even dry printing rolls.
1999 - The foreign laboratory is opened in China
